Imagine living in a country that is next to a neighboring country in which people are starved to death – 100% on purpose. And imagine not being allowed by your own goverment to help. Any attempt to even hand over a bottle of water is considered a crime.
You don’t have to imagine it, that’s the reality of Egypt and Jordan. Egyptians and Jordians are not allowed to help their neighbors the Palestinian. Realizing that your country and goverment is complicit is psychogolically very damaging and difficult.
This leads to the desperate attempt to throw bottles filled with rice and grains into the sea with the hope that it may reach the beach of the Arabs of Gaza. This is what hopelessness looks like.
To give you a better picture – imagine Europeans, like Germans, Italians and French not being allowed to help Ukrainians by their own Goverment, isn’t it unthinkable? Quite the opposite, the goverments even encouraged people to help and send aid to Ukraine, there isn’t even a genocide going on, and no ethnic cleansing.
But while there is an active genocide and ethnic cleansing happing in Gaza, the people of the surrounding countries aren’t allowed to even think about helping them. They speak the same language, have the same faith and are ethnically related. Meanwhile Germans, French, British and Italians have almost nothing in common with Ukrainians.
Russia isn’t supported with its action towards Ukraine, while Israel is given weapons worth more than 500 billions of USD and Euros, the European and American Tax Payers are the ATM of the Israeli Government. Supporting a criminal act makes the supporters criminal too. Ironically their criminal armed group is called IDF which stands for Israeli Defense Forces – the right phrase is IGF – Israeli Genocide Forces.
